ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioners to pay the settlement amount.

2.The petitioners' grievance is that the first petitioner's estranged wife lodged complaints one after another at various police stations. Initially, she lodged a complaint at Rasipuram police station which was enquired and closed. Thereafter, another complaint was closed at Tiruppur police station and the same was also closed and thereafter, she lodged a third complaint to Perumanallur police and all the three complaints were enquired and closed. Suppressing the same, she now again approached Tiruppur All Women Police Station and lodged a complaint and summons have been issued to the first petitioner. He understood that the allegation is also made against the 2nd and 3rd petitioners who are the aged parents of the first petitioner.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint of the first petitioner's estranged wife, summons have been sent only to the first petitioner and not to the 2nd and 3rd petitioners. On the complaint against the first petitioner in C.S.R.No.170 of 2021 dated 02.12.2021, summons have been issued for appearance on 08.12.2021. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes, on instructions, that the 1st petitioner shall appear before the 3rd respondent on 08.12.2021 to other his explanation. 5.This is a only matrimonial dispute. The dispute is between the estranged husband and wife. In this case, the 1st petitioner is the counter complainant. The respondent police is directed not to harass the parties in any matrimonial dispute and proper enquiry should be conducted and if required mediation is to be done and find out ways and means to resolve the issue. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
