ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the respondent herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.07.2023 forthwith.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner had completed the Health Sanitary Inspector certified course and he had worked during the Covid 19 pandemic period, on temporary basis from 07.05.2020 to 31.03.2022, as per the G.O.Ms.No 95, Health and Family Welfare Department dated 13.03.2020, as notified and permitted the Director of the Public Health and Preventive medicine to engage 2715 Multipurpose Health Worker (male) in the post of Health Inspector Grade II on outsourcing as a temporary measure to meet the exigencies of that situation. Thereafter, the petitioner was relieved from the said post. Now, the respondents issued a notification for the recruitment for the post of Health Inspector Grade II, in which petitioner also applied for the said post.

4. In the meanwhile, the petitioner submitted a representation to consider him for the said post. If at all the petitioner is selected on merits, he will be appointed in the said post. Therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition cannot be considered and this writ petition is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed.

5. Accordingly, this Writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
