This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to admit the prisoner Thiru.Manoj @ Manoj Chakravarthi in Government Hospital to give proper medical treatment and to take appropriate Criminal and Disciplinary action against the prison authorities who had assaulted the prisoner.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that now almost three years have been lapsed and hence due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infrcutuous, and nothing survives in this petition.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
