Both the parties have filed joint memo to the effect that the issue with regard to this writ petition has been settled between both the parties outside the Court. The respondent has agreed and paid an amount of Rs.1,61,137/- vide cheque bearing No.603741 dated 25.04.2024 towards backwages. It is also mentioned that the respondent workmen has no other claims with regard to backwages. The same is recorded. 3.
In view of the settlement arrived at between both the parties, cause does not survive to prosecute this writ petition any more. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of and joint memo is made a part of the record. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
