ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioners representation dated 09.07.2024 to appoint Mr.B.Mohan Advocate as Special Public Prosecutor in S.No.13 of 2019 pending on the file of the Principal District and sessions Court, Dharmapuri for

the trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Dharmapuri in view of the mandate proviso to Rule 4(5) of SC and ST Rule 1995.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondent will be considered the petitioner's representation and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2024 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
