ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records in C.C.No.87 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sankagiri and quash the same. 2.Today (09.03.2016), the petitioners, the second respondent, their respective counsel and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor were present and their identification is also verified by this Court. The second respondent filed an affidavit stating that even though the case has been registered against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 380, 506(i) and 109 of lPC since the matter has been compromised, he does not want to pursue the case further. 3.Considering the nature of allegation and also considering the affidavit filed by the second respondent, this Court is of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the opinion that no useful purpose would be served by allowing the trial to proceed with. Therefore, the entire proceedings in C.C.No.87 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Sankagiri is hereby, quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed accordingly.
