ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offence under Section 294(b), 109, 353, 506 (ii) 189 and 309 of IPC in Crime No.190 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a history sheeter and as per the order of the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Mettur, the respondent police went to the house of the petitioner to arrest him in connection with the case in Cr.No.478 of 2021 for the offence under Sections 392 r/w 397 and 506(ii) of IPC. At that time, the wife of the petitioner prevented the respondent police from discharging their duty and thereafter, the respondent police attempted to arrest the petitioner, he abused the respondent police and in order to escape from being arrested, he attempted suicide by cutting his neck with knife and sustained blood injuries and with great difficulties, the respondent police admitted him in the hospital. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor raised strong objection by stating that the petitioner is the history sheeter and he has got seven previous cases against him. He further submits that this Court dismissed the petitioner's earlier anticipatory bail petition in Crl.OP.No.20962 of 2021 dated 08.11.2021.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner is the history sheeter and he has got seven previous cases against him and also the fact that there is no change of circumstances after the dismissal of the petitioner's earlier anticipatory bail petition, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
