The petitioner is the wife of the victim was done to death. 2.

The case in Crime No.375 of 2023 dated 02.10.2023 was 1/4

registered and final report filed against eight persons. The case in P.R.C., stage for more than eight hearings. One or other accused is absent and therefore, the case is not yet to be committed to the Court of Sessions. Under this circumstances, the present petition is filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri to commit the PRC to the Court of Sessions expeditiously.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that, since the accused persons are not appeared before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri, there is an impediment to commit the Court of Sessions after serving copy to the accused persons.

Taking note of the fact, the accused persons are deliberately delaying the process. The Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri is hereby directed to take necessary steps to commit the case to the Court of Sessions by 30.09.2024. If any of the accused failed to cooperate, coercive steps will be taken to secure the accused. 5.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
