ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- (The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioners who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 20.11.2021 for the offences under Sections 342, 323, 506 (ii), 364(A) of IPC, in Crime No.713 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seek bail..

2. The case of the prosecution is that there was a money dispute between the petitioners and the de facto complainant. While so, on 13.11.2021, the petitioners along with other accused abducted the defacto complainant and detained him in a shed and demanded ransom of Rs.25 lakshs from the wife of the defacto complainant. Subsequently, in the absence of the accused, the defacto complainant escaped from them. Hence, the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent and they are no way connected with the alleged offence and they have been falsely implicated in this case and he would further submit that the petitioners have been suffering incarceration for more than 15 days from 20.11.2021. Hence, he would pray for grant of bail to the petitioners.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would raise strong objection stating that there are totally 8 accused involved in this case and A1 to A4 have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody and A4 to A8 are still absconding and that the investigation has not been completed.

5. Considering the grave nature of offence and the fact that A4 to A8 are still absconding and the investigation has not been completed, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
