PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to grant allotment of land in favour of the 6th respondent which is classified as PAARAI PORAMBOKE in Survey Number:12, situated at Pukkasagaram Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, pursuant to petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2025.

ORDER

The above petition is filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 not to grant allotment of land in favour of the 6th respondent which is classified as PAARAI PORAMBOKE in Survey Number:12, situated at Pukkasagaram Village, Shoolagiri Taluk, Krishnagiri District, pursuant to petitioner's representation dated 10.05.2025. 2.To a pointed question as to whether the petitioner's rights are affected, all that the petitioner's counsel would submit that she has interest being a resident of that village. To a further question as to whether this would be more in the nature of a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), she would seek permission of 2/4

this Court to withdraw the same with liberty to file a PIL. An endorsement to that effect has been made in the bundle.

3. In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a Public Interest Litigation (PIL). No Costs.
