Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue a joint patta in the name of 1. Sameena Fathima P, Wife of Ajaz Ali Khan on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 02.10.2021 in respect of the property house bearing Old Door No.23, New Door No.11/7, New described as Old Door No.23 Part, New Door No. 11/7 Part, Kannabiran Koil Street, Agaram, situated in Peravallur Village, Puraswalkam-Perambur Taluk, Chennai District. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue a joint patta in the name of petitioners on the basis of the petitioners' representation dated 02.10.2021 in respect of the property bearing Old Door No.23, New Door No.11/7, New described as Old Door No.23 Part, New Door No. 11/7 Part, Kannabiran Koil Street, Agaram, situated in Peravallur Village, PuraswalkamPerambur Taluk, Chennai District.
2. Heard, Mr.B. Govindaprabu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.S. Rajesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner applied for patta in respect of the property bearing Old Door No.23, New Door No.11/7, New described as Old Door N o.23 Part, New Door No. 11/7 Part, Kannabiran Koil Street, Agaram, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
situated in Peravallur Village, Puraswalkam-Perambur Taluk, Chennai District, on the strength of the sale deed dated 30.11.2009, before the respondent.
4. The learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the property comes under the Tahsildar, Ayanavaram Taluk Office, Chennai.
5. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh application before the Tahsildar, Ayanavaram Taluk Office, Chennai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the Tahsildar, Ayanavam Taluk Office, Chennai, is directed to conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the counter parties, if any, by giving them an opportunity of hearing, shall pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
