ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent-Police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents-Police and perused the materials available on record.

3. On a perusal of the records, it is seen that the dispute between the parties is regarding money transaction and it is purely civil in nature. The respondent-Police has no locus-standi to interfere with the dispute between the parties. Hence, the third respondent-Police is directed not to harass the petitioner under the guise of investigation/enquiry. 2/5

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The de-facto complainant is at liberty to work out his remedy before the competent civil Court and not through the respondent-Police. 21-07-2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes 3/5
