Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 29.08.2016 and further direct him to measure the properties situated in S.No.24/3B to an extent of 2.28 cents, in the Village Account Melchozankuppam, Polur Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and to give separate compute patta and chitta in petitioner's name.

Heard the learned counsel for petitioner. Learned Government Advocate Mr.R.S.Selvam, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
2. With the consent of either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.
3. The Petitioner seeks for a direction upon the 2nd
respondent to consider his representation dated 29.08.2016 and measure his property and issue computer patta and chitta.
4. Earlier, the petitioner came before this Court and filed W.P.No.29920 of 2012 for a direction upon the respondents to consider and grant patta in his name. The said writ petition was disposed of by order dated 06.01.2015. Alleging that the order has not been complied with the petitioner filed Cont.P. No.326 of 2015. During the pendency of contempt petition an order has been passed by the 2nd respondent on 04.01.2016.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would state that in terms of the said order the petitioner is entitled for grant of patta in respect of the land in S.No. 24/3B measuring an extent of 2.28 cents. Therefore, now the petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents 2 and 3 to measure and issue separate patta, though in the light of the proceedings dated 04.01.2016.
6. Learned Government Advocate submits that reasonable time may be granted to the authorities to conduct an survey of the land and then proceed in accordance with law.
7. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 29.08.2016 and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The writ Petition is disposed of on the above terms. No costs.
