The case in Crime Number 2 of 2018 dated 22.04.2018 on the file of All Women Police Station East, Coimbatore for offence under Sections 5, 6 of POCSO Act and 9 and 10 of Prohibition of Children Marriage Act along with Section 366(A) of IPC culminated in final report and taken cognizable by the Mahila Court, Coimbatore in Special CC.No.60 of 2019. Thereafter, on constitution of Special Court for POCSO Offence file has been transferred to Special Court at POCSO. The defacto complainant and the accused had entered into compromise obtained the order of quash from this Court in Crl.OP.No.27610 of 2022 dated 12.07.2023. However, while mentioning in the Court they have wrongly mentioned as Mahila Court, Coimbatore instead of Sessions Judge, Special Court, POCSO Act, Coimbatore. Hence, the petition present petition is to amend.

2. On verifying the records, this Court finds that the petitioner had 2/5

mentioned Mahila Court, Coimbatore in Special SC,No.60 of 2019 is pending but in fact, Special CC.60 of 2019 was transferred to Mahila Court, Coimbatore presently pending on the file of Sessions Judge, Special Court, POCSO Act, Coimbatore. Therefore, the amendment sought for is allowed.
