This petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.253 of 2017 on the file of the second respondent police to some other agency namely, the District Crime Branch.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the second respondent police has completed the investigation in Crime No.253 of 2017 and also filed a charge sheet and the same was admitted by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthangarai in P.R.C.No.12 of 2018 and forwarded to the Principal District Court, Krishnagiri and the case number not yet assigned.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
