Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to issue a direction to the respondent to investigate the above Crime No.3130 of 2015 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame. ORDER

This petition is filed praying for a direction to the respondent to investigate the Crime No.3130 of 2015 and to file a final report within a stipulated time frame. 2.A complaint has been lodged by this petitioner as against one Saraswathi for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. Though the complaint has been registered in Crime No.3130 of 2015 as early as on 03.08.2015, till date there is no progress in the investigation and the final report has not been filed. Hence, this petition.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is under progress.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.In view of the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent police to expedite the investigation, complete the same and file final report as early as possible.
