The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 24.01.2022 and to provide electricity service connection to the petitioner's property situated in S.Nos.540/1C, 540/1D and 540/2B Akkamanahalli Village, Dharmapuri Taluk and District totally to an extent of 2.14 1⁄4 acres.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he purchased the property in S.No.540/1C and 540/1D situated at Akkamanahalli Village, Dharmapuri and he approached the respondents to give electricity service connection to his agricultural lands and the same has not been considered so far. Without having no other option, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate remedy.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioners representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits within the time frame to be fixed by this court.
5. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel and the learned Government Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents and perused the materials available on record. 6.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this Court directs the petitioner to make a fresh representation along with a copy of this order to the third respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of which, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, thereafter.
