Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider my representation dated 13.07.2016 seeking for issuance of the family card and pass orders granting family card to the petitioner.

O R D E R

Writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.07.2016 seeking for issuance of the family card and pass orders granting family card to the petitioner.

2. It appears that the petitioner who is a practicing advocate, after marriage had applied to the 2nd respondent for issuance of a separate family card as his wife had applied for deletion of her name in the family card given to her father and such deletion has been effected and the petitioner has made an application to the respondent which has been received on the office of the 2nd respondent on 22.08.2011 bearing receipt no. 770 of 2011. It appears that the matter is still pending and the petitioner has also a son who was born on 28.11.2012. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to conduct an enquiry based on the petitioner's application and pass orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
