2. As seen from the affidavit filed in support of this application, the recording of oral evidence is almost complete. The applicant seeks for extension of another six months for the Arbitrator to pronounce the Arbitral Award. The learned counsel for the respondent has not raised any serious objection for the same. However, he would submit that the allegations levelled against the respondent in the affidavit are not true.
3. Without going into the allegations levelled against the respondent by the applicant in the affidavit filed in support of this application, this application is allowed as prayed for, since the relief
sought for is only for an extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce the Arbitral Award. The applicant has sought for six months time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce an Arbitral Award.
4. Considering the stage of the arbitration, this Court is inclined to grant six months time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce the Arbitral Award.
5. For the foregoing reasons this application is allowed as prayed for by directing the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce the Arbitral Award, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
