PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to dispose off the proceeding initiated under Section 145 of Criminal Procedure code bearing Rc.No.3300/2019/B2, within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

The limited prayer sought for in the present writ petition is to direct the first respondent to dispose of the proceeding initiated in Rc.No.3300/2019/B2, under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. 2.It is seen that the proceeding was initiated on 09.08.2019 in connection with the Church and though more than two months lapsed, the enquiry is still pending. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that if three months time is granted, the enquiry would be completed.

4.Taking into consideration the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondents to conduct the enquiry on the proceeding initiated under Section 145 of Cr.P.C passed in Rc.No.3300/2019/B2 on its own merits and due process of law as expeditiously as possible, in any event, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observations and direction, the Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
