PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the complaint dated 20.08.2017 pending on the file of the second respondent to the third respondent and proceed the investigation in accordance with law.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's complaint was enquired and closed.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, no effective orders can be passed in the present Criminal Original Petition.

4. In view of the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the closure report, if he is advised to do so.
