This petition has been filed to modify the condition in Paragraph No.6 imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.18565 of 2024 dated 01.08.2024 directing the petitioner to produce one blood surety.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court while granting bail to the petitioner on 01.08.2024 had imposed a condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties in which one surety must be a blood surety. The learned counsel submitted that the parents of the petitioner passed away and hence, the petitioner could not comply with the said condition and he is still suffering incarceration despite being granted bail. Hence, he seeks for modification of the said condition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police also submitted that the parents of the petitioner are no more and that it is a case of 302 IPC.

4.Considering the submissions of the learned counsel on either side, this Court is inclined to modify the said condition to the effect that the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on condition to execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) with two sureties in which one surety shall be a local surety from the native of the petitioner for a like sum to the satisfaction of the XVII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai.
