Respondents Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus or any other writ appropriate writ or order or direction to consider the petitioners representations dated 23.03.2016, 12.08.2016 by the respondents and consequently direct the 2nd respondent to issuance of genuine PATTA documents assigned in the petitioner's house properties .

ORDER
Heard Mr.T.V.G.Karthiban, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate accepting notice for the respondents and with the consent on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the 2nd respondent to consider their representations dated 23.03.2016 and 12.08.2016 respectively for issuance of patta. According to the petitioners, a patta was handed over to them by the Village Administrative Officer and the petitioners came to know that it was a bogus patta. the petitioners submitted various representations, last of which was on 25.10.2013, which has been forwarded by the 1st respondent to the 2nd respondent for appropriate action, vide Memo dated 29.10.2013 and since there was no action initiated thereafter in spite of several representations, the petitioners are before this Court.
It is not known as to what action was initiated by the respondents when the petitioners have made an allegation that the patta given to them was a bogus patta. If the contentions raised by the petitioners are factually correct, then it is a serious matter, which has to be looked into by the respondents.
In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioners dated 23.03.2016 and 12.08.2016 respectively, after issuing notice to the petitioners and all other persons who are likely to be aggrieved and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
