This writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to provide police protection on 27.09.2022 for the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of Church of South India at St.Georges Cathedral Church and Campus at No.224, 225 & 226, Cathedral Road, Chennai 600 086 in order to ensure that Thanks giving Worship Service and following celebration takes place in a smooth fashion and no law and order issues arise.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) submitted that in this matter the respondent 2/4
police had provided sufficient police protection in conducting the celebrations of Church of South India at St.Georges Cathedral Church and campus at No.224, 225 & 226 Cathedral Road, Chennai 600 086.
3. Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
