ORDER
The present wit petition has been filed with a prayer for Mandamus, to direct the respondent to pay the petitioner the amounts, payable towards the 1/4
encashment of 90 days of earned leaves surrendered by her in the years before her retirement and Employees Retirement Benefit Scheme, as admitted by the respondent in the RTI information dated 11.04.2025, together with 18% interest from the respective due dates, within a stipulated time.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was joined in the respondent Corporation on 11.07.1992 and had retired from her service on 31.03.2017. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for claiming the 90 days earned leaves surrendered by her under the Employees Retirement Benefit Scheme, she has submitted a representation on 02.06.2025 to the respondent and such representation is pending for consideration on the file of the respondent.
3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent would fairly submit that they will consider the above said representation of the petitioner and pass orders according to its own merits within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and also perused the materials available on record.

In view of the said fair submission made by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's above representation dated 02.06.2025 and pass orders according to its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
