ORDER
Heard Mr.K.Sathish Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.V.Duraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents. The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent to consider his representation dated 01.08.2016 for issuance of patta for the land admeasuring to an extent of 2975 sq.ft. in S.No.97, Block No.11, Maduvankarai. It is seen that apart from the Sale Deed dated 19.09.1991 and the Encumbrance Certificate, the petitioner has not produced any document. Unless and until the petitioner produces the document to show that the petitioner's vendor was in lawful possession of the property by producing patta and other documents standing in the vendor's name, the respondent cannot be directed to consider the application of the petitioner.
Accordingly, the prayer sought for by the petitioner stands rejected and the writ petition is dismissed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the respondent by producing all the documents of title of the petitioner's vendor and if the same is produced in full, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.
