Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct second respondent to send a police verification report to the 1st respondent and direct the 1st respondent to process the passport application of the petitioner in File No.MA1065466947723 and issue passport to the petitioner.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to send the police verification report to the first respondent and for further direction to the first respondent to process the passport application of the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner had submitted an online application to the first respondent on 12.06.2023 seeking for the issuance of passport. Even thereafter, the petitioner was sending representation and there was no response. Since the passport application was not processed, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for appropriate direction.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instruction submitted that the second respondent had already sent the verification report dated 11.08.2023 to the first respondent. In view of the same, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, it will suffice to issue a direction to the first respondent to process the passport application of the petitioner.
5. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to process the passport application of the petitioner in file No.MA1065466947723 in accordance with law and take a decision within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 24.08.2023 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No Speaking Order/Non-Speaking Order nsa Page No.3/4
