O R D E R

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner for committing wilful disobedience of the order passed by this court dated dated 11.10.2022 in Crl.O.P.No.24567 of 2022.

2. This Court, by order dated 11.10.2022, made in Crl.O.P.No.24567 of 2022, issued a direction to the respondent police viz., the Inspector of Police to file a final report on the complaint registered in Cr.No.39 of 2020 before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

3. Today, When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Govt. Advocate (crl. Side) submitted that the direction issued by the court dated 11.10.2022 has been duly complied with. The respondent police, on completion of investigation in FIR.No.39 of 2020, filed a final report before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Sriperumbudur on 10.11.2022 and the case has been taken on file in C.C.No.243 of 2023 for the offence under sections 468, 409 and 420 of IPC on 30.09.2023. To that effect, he has also produced the copy of the final report before this court.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Govt. Advocate (crl.side), since the direction of this court dated 11.10.2022 has been complied with, this Contempt Petition is closed.
