ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Alleging non-compliance of the order dated 29.11.2023 passed in W.P.No.33662 of 2023, the present contempt petition is filed.

2. It is seen from the records that pursuant to the order dated 29.11.2023 passed in the writ petition, the first respondent vide proceedings dated 31.1.2024, directed the second respondent to take effective steps to remove the encroachments and, subsequently, the second respondent, vide proceedings dated 7.5.2024, directed the third respondent/encroacher to remove the encroachment on or before 13.5.2024.

3. Learned Government Advocate submits that the respondent authorities shall proceed in accordance with law and take necessary action forthwith.

4. Inasmuch as action has been initiated by the respondent authorities and as learned Government Advocate submitted that the

respondent authorities shall proceed in accordance with law, we are of the view that there is no willful disobedience of the order passed in the writ petition.

The contempt petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
