ORDER

Heard Mr.M.Saravana Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambi Durai, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents and with the consent on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2016, wherein the petitioner has requested the 2nd respondent / Sub Registrar of Registration, to register the decree in OS.No.155/2011 dated 16.10.2015 on the file of the Additional District Court, Kancheepuram at Chengalpattu. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

It is not known as to why the respondent has not considered the representation and passed orders. It is always open to the respondents to refuse the registration for good and valid reasons, but that should be done by passing a speaking order and there is no justification to keep the matter pending. In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
