COMMON PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to call for the records and quash the complaint dated 22.02.2017 in E.O.C.C.Nos.55 to 57 of 2017 pending on the file of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate at Egmore.

2. The learned Central Government Standing counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the complainant has filed a compounding petition before the Regional Director, which is pending for consideration.
3. In such view of the matter, as the offence is compoundable, the Regional Director is directed to pass appropriate orders in the compounding petition within a period of one(1) month from today i.e.06.01.2022. On such orders, the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the main petition within a period of one(1) month from the date of filing of such application.
4. With the above observation, no further order is required in this matter. Accordingly, these Criminal Original Petitions are dismissed. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
