ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.N.Thambi Durai, learned Special Government Pleader accepting notice for the respondents and with the consent on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 20.07.2016. From the materials papers placed in the typed set, it is seen that in spite of repeated communications by the Commissioner of Pallavaram Municipality, the 2nd respondent did not take any action and ultimately by notice dated 08.07.2016, the 2nd respondent fixed the date for personal hearing on 20.07.2016 at 11.00 a.m. in his office to conduct an enquiry and the enquiry has been completed and nothing transpired thereafter. Therefore, the petitioner who is aged 71 years, has given a representation and this representation is still pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2016 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
