O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction to the respondent police to register a case pertaining to the petitioner's complaint dated 30.01.2016 and to investigate and file a final report within the stipulated time. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the respondent on 30.01.2016. But the respondents have not shown any interest to enquire the matter and register the case. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with this petition for the above stated relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.At this juncture, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner in respect of non-payment of the chit amount, C.S.R.No.91 of 2016 has been assigned. He further submitted that after due enquiry, the proposed accused has undertaken to repay the chit amount and on that basis, it was closed.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Liberty is given to the petitioner to approach the alternative remedy, if necessary.
