Prayer: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to direct the first respondent police to return back the Original Settlement Deed dated 16.07.2009 registered as Doct No.3545/2009 in SRO Acharapakkam, belonging to the petitioner which was handed over them to the second respondent. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent police to return back the Original Settlement Deed dated 16.07.2009 registered as Doct No.3545/2009 in SRO Acharapakkam, belonging to the petitioner which was handed over them to the second respondent.

Heard Mr.K.Govi Ganesan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.M.Mohammed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent and Mr.A.Praveen Kumar learned counsel for the second respondent.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor and also the learned counsel for the second respondent submitted that no complaint has been lodged by the petitioner and nothing is pending on the file of the first respondent. That apart the case is of Civil in nature, hence the prayer sought for in this petition cannot be granted.

In view of the above discussion, this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
