ORDER

This Criminal Original petition has been filed to direct the first and second respondents to give protection for the petitioner's life and property. 2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner gave a representation to the first respondent with regard to give police protection to the petitioner and his family, the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) submitted that on receiving the complaint from the petitioner, the second respondent conducted enquiry in CSR No.223 of 2022 and with regard to the same, the investigation is in progress. Further, the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2022 is available with the second respondent and they are ready to consider the petitioner's representation.

4.Recording the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
