O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to 2nd respondent to restore the patta in respect of land situated in Survey No. 49/1 at Manthikulampatti Village, Sikkalur, Dharmapuri District in the name of petitioner's mother one Vellachinnammal by considering her representation dated 29.04.2024.

2. According to the petitioner, the above mentioned property belongs to her mother namely Vellachinnammal and the patta originally stood in her name and the mother of the petitioner died on 03.05.1993 and she had four children including the petitioner. The patta for the above mentioned property was wrongly issued in favour of 5th respondent who is having no right over the property. Therefore, the petitioner submitted a representation on 29.04.2024 before the 2nd respondent seeking restoration of patta in the name of petitioner's mother after conducting necessary enquiry and the same has not been considered. Hence, she is before this Court. 2/5

3. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents, submitted that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

4.In view of the said position, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, is inclined to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order after issuing necessary notice to the 5th respondent.
