PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner in line with the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.9800 of 2019 dated 04.04.2025.

ORDER

The writ petition is filed a seeking a mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner in line with the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.9800 of 2019 dated 04.04.2025.

2. Sifting through the elaborate affidavit filed by the petitioner and the representation both of which do not provide any clarity, this Court can only infer that the grievance of the petitioner is that, despite being qualified for the post of Assistant Professor with UGC 2/4

pay level 13A since 2017, he has not been considered to date, while persons junior to him have been considered. His representation dated 25.06.2025 has also not been considered to date. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsels on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, the Writ Petition is allowed and a mandamus is issued to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.06.2025 and pass a speaking order within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
