PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to transfer the investigation in Crime No.04 of 2016 from the file of the 3rd respondent-Inspector of Police team -II, EOW, Chennai to the file of the 2nd respondent- the Deputy Superintendent of Police, EOW, Guindy, Chennai and under supervision of the Superintendent of Police, EOW, Guindy, Chennai. and to file a final report before the learned Special Metropolitan Magistrate Court for CCB/CBCID cases at Egmore, Chennai.

This Criminal Original petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking for to transfer the investigation in Crime No.04 of 2016 from the file of the 3rd respondent-Inspector of Police team -II, EOW, Chennai to the file of the 2nd respondentthe Deputy Superintendent of Police, EOW, Guindy, Chennai and under supervision of the Superintendent of Police, EOW, Guindy, Chennai. and to file a final report before the learned Special Metropolitan Magistrate Court for CCB/CBCID cases at Egmore, Chennai.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that after the investigation, charges sheet has been filed in Crime No.4 of 2016 and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.844 of 2018 before the Judicial Magistrate concerned and the matter is to be listed on 27.08.2021 for orders. Hence, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
