ORDER

The petitioners have come forward with this petition under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records in Crime No.18 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and quash the same.

2.Today (09.03.2016), the petitioners, the second respondent, their respective counsel and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor were present and their identification is also verified by this Court. The second respondent has fairly https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

conceded that since the matter has been compromised, he has no objection to quash the proceedings in Cr.No.18 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent.

3.Recording the memo of compromise filed by both parties, this Court is of the opinion that no useful purpose would be served by allowing the case to proceed with. Therefore, the entire proceedings in Cr.No.18 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent is hereby quashed and this Criminal Original Petition is allowed accordingly.
