J U D G M E N T
The present criminal appeal is filed challenging the order of acquittal of the 2nd respondent/accused dated 05.04.2016 for the offence punishable under Section 307 IPC by the Sessions Judge, Mahalir Neethimandram, Chennai, in S.C.No.249 of 2014.
2. The accused was convicted for the offences punishable under Sections 498A and 323 IPC, as against which, the accused filed Crl.A.No.307 of 2016 before this Court, in which a compromise memo was filed by both the parties.
3. A learned Single Judge of this Court (Hon'ble Mr.Justice D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY), vide his judgment and orders dated 03.03.2023 disposed of the said criminal appeal recording the compromise memo filed by both the parties.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the appellant sought permission of this Court to withdraw the appeal as nothing survives for adjudication. He also made an endorsement to that effect. 2/4
5. Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the appellant, the present criminal appeal stands disposed of.
