O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to call for the entire records in E.O.C.C.No.158 of 2016, on the file of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, (E.O.II) Egmore, Allikulam Road, Chennai and quash all further proceeding against the accused.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of the above case between the petitioner and the Income Tax Department, the issues and dispute settled, since the offence is compoundable in nature. In view of the compounding nature of the offence, the petition may be dismissed as with drawn, since the Criminal case against the petitioner is to be withdrawn.

3. The learned Special Public Prosecutor submits that the matter has been settled and compounded and after physical functioning of the Court , the petition would be filed before the concerned Court and complaint would be withdrawn.

4. Recording the submission of the Special Public Prosecutor that the cases before the Trial Court is to be withdrawn. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
