This petition filed to quash the complaint initiated by the Salesman of PDS shop alleging that this petitioner had used filthy language and quarrelled with him. Whereas, the petitioner who seeks quash of the case submits that it was the defacto complainant who refused to distribute PDS essential material to the public in spite of adequate stock and when that was questioned he has given this false complaint and in this regard, he has given the complaint and the same is pending. 2.The learned Government Advocate states that it is a case and counter both C.C.No.143 of 2023 against this petitioner and C.C.No.232 of 2022 against the defacto complainant herein / the Salesman of the shop, are pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Hosur.

3.In the light of the above fact, since cognizable offence been made out and the learned Magistrate has taken cognizance of the offence, it is sufficient to direct the Trial Court to complete the trial of both the cases, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2 / 4
