This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash criminal proceedings in C.C.No.381 of 2016 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) for the first respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that since the quashment is mainly on the ground of factual aspects, he will canvass the same before the trial Court and he also seeks indulgence of this Court to grant dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Taking into consideration, the facts and circumstances of the case, the presence of the petitioner before the Trial Court is dispensed with except for receipt of copies, answering the charges, questioning under Section 313 Cr.P.C., or on any other date, as may be required by the trial Court.
