ORDER

The Revision Petitioner herein is the 3rd defendant in the suit in O.S.No.106 of 2013 on the file of learned Principal District Judge, Vellore, which was filed by the 1st respondent/plaintiff for the relief of declaration and other consequential relief against the defendants 1 to 3.

2. Since the relief claimed by the Revision Petitioner only seeking a direction for a speedy disposal, the notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. The learned counsel for Revision Petitioner would submit that the the suit was filed in the year of 2013 and the same is pending without any progress. Though the written statement was filed in the year of 2014 itself, more than 6 years, the case is pending. Therefore, he wanted to direct the trial court to dispose the case as early as possible. 2/4

4. Records perused. On perusal of e-court status, it reveals that the suit is pending from the year of 2013, however, there are lot of interlocutary applications were filed, more particularly, with regard to amendment. Furthermore, one of application in I.A.No.2 of 2023 was filed praying to implead proposed parties as defendants 4 and 5 in the suit and the same is also pending without any progress. Therefore, this Court is inclined to direct the trial judge to commence the trial and dispose the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and both parties are directed to cooperate with the trial proceedings. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
