ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondents to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner dated 10.06.2024 and 13.06.2024.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner is a daughter of one B.Gurumurthy, who is aged about 91 years. He is residing at Bangalore with his son, i.e., the fourth respondent herein. The case of the petitioner is that her father is in the hands of the fourth respondent and he could not come out from the custody of the fourth respondent. The fourth respondent tortured her father to the core. Therefore, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the first respondent under Maintenance of Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. Admittedly,
the fourth respondent is residing at Bangalore with his father and the petitioner's father is also living at Bangalore.
4. In view of the above, the respondents 1 to 3 have no jurisdiction to entertain the complaint filed under Maintenance of Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007. The petitioner is at liberty to lodge a complaint before the jurisdictional office at Bangalore in the manner known to law.
5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
