A.No.4296 of 2024 in C.S.(Comm.Div.) No.DR.106117 of 2022 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY,J The applicants / intending plaintiffs seek leave to sue the respondent before this Court. Learned counsel for the applicants submits that the suit claim relates to the supply of TMT bars by the applicants to the respondent. He also submits that all the material events took place at Chennai, such as the placing of the purchase order, the raising of the invoice, the supply and the request for payment.
2. Upon examining the draft plaint, the affidavit in support of this application and the material documents, it appears that a substantial part of the cause of action has arisen within the jurisdiction of this Court. Therefore, the applicants are granted leave to sue the respondent before this Court by allowing A.No.4296 of 2024. As a corollary, the Registry is directed to number the suit, if otherwise in order.
