O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed challenging the prosecution for the offences under Sections 500 and 501 IPC in C.C.No.5 of 2015 on the file of the learned Principal Sessions Judge at Chennai.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the Government had withdrawn the prosecution under Section 321 of Cr.P.C. and the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai has passed an order in Crl.M.P.No.17207 of 2021 in C.C.No.5 of 2015 dated 29.09.2021, permitting the Government to withdraw the prosecution of the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition and this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 07.03.2023 Index: Yes/No Speaking / Non Speaking Order kal 2/4
