Respondent Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent The Chief Judicial Magistrate Thiruvallur to expeditiously dispose of the Petition filed by the petitioner under section 14 of The SARFAESI Act and received by the respondent on 28.12.2020 in Crl.M.P. No. 3764/ 2021 pending before the respondent.

2. The only relief claimed in the present writ petition is a direction to dispose of the application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002.

3. In case the application under Section 14 of the Securitization and Reconstruction of Financial Assets and Enforcement of Security Interest Act, 2002 is still pending, then the respondent may dispose of the same expeditiously, on its own merits and in accordance with law.

4. In the light of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
