ORDER
This Criminal Appeal No.49 of 2017 has been filed to set aside the judgement made in SC.No.302 of 2014 dated 28.11.2016 on the file of learned Special Court for cases under POCSO Act 2012, Mahila Court, Chennai.
2. There is no representation for the petitioner.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted the True Copy of the death certificate of the Appellant viz, Balaji @ Balamurugan son of Vinayagam, along with the report of Inspector of Police, Pulianthopu All Woman Police Station, Chennai, before this Court.
4. It is seen from the report and the death certificate that accused/appellant died on 17.02.2018. Therefore, the charge against the accused / appellant is abated and hence the appeal is dismissed as abated.
