The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.631 of 2015, has filed a petition to withdraw the case in C.C.No.50/2016 which is pending before the Judicial Magistrate, Kangeyam, in which, he is the defacto complainant and try the same along with Spl.S.C.No.2/2017, which is pending before the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge, Tiruppur.
2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Spl.S.C.No.2 of 2017, which was on the file of the learned Principal and District Sessions Judge, Tiruppur, after full fledged trial, had ended in acquittal on 10.08.2018. As also, C.C.No.50 of 2016, after full fledged trial, had ended in acquittal on 18.11.2019.

3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Therefore, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
